The Individualized Studies (INDI) program caters to students exploring interdisciplinary work that transcends traditional academic boundaries. Available starting in sophomore year, this self-guided program lets you merge diverse fields and carve out distinctive research trajectories across the college's offerings—spanning architecture, design, fine arts, writing, and beyond. Your INDI journey is structured around four core courses, a dynamic artist statement, a study rationale, and a personalized graduation roadmap.
Graduates of Individualized Studies emerge with the ability to pursue their unique interests across multiple disciplines. Alumni leverage this self-awareness and pioneering spirit in their creative practices, as well as in professional roles ranging from teaching and curation to tech development, business ventures, and exhibition design.
