CBU's architecture program focuses on equipping students with the skills and discernment to analyze constructed spaces and create thoughtful architectural solutions, enabling them to actively participate in both architectural practice and broader conversations—whether artistic, technological, social, political, environmental, economic, or spiritual—to become proficient professionals and ethically grounded individuals shaped by biblical principles.
The CBU Architecture department strives to cultivate architects who exemplify both technical mastery and moral character, serving as compassionate leaders while integrating faith into their professional practice. Beyond classroom dialogues, we create meaningful experiences for students through industry engagement, mission-driven projects, and cutting-edge research initiatives. CBU collaborates with prominent organizations including: American Institute of Architecture Students, CRUX, Association of Christians in Architecture, Church Design Research Institute, National Organization of Minority Students, and Freedom by Design.
