They guide government officials and promote waste reduction. Their role involves developing and executing solutions to improve our planet for all its inhabitants. Students collaborate directly with professors and contribute to research initiatives. This engagement aids students in identifying career paths aligned with their abilities. We will evaluate the environmental science program's effectiveness by tracking graduates' employment outcomes and graduate school admissions rates. Students will develop the ability to thoughtfully examine and debate scientific literature. They will gain skills to analyze and discuss current and contentious environmental topics, empowering them to engage knowledgeably in public discussions about these matters.
Students will master presenting scientific information effectively through both speech and writing.
Students will utilize their environmental science expertise by completing either a comprehensive research study or a professional internship in the field.
