This Biology program delivers the fundamental academic requirements for life sciences, equipping majors for advanced graduate work, professional studies, secondary education teaching, or biological research careers. Those aiming to teach at the secondary level should consult the Education section regarding the Professional Methods Program for Single Subject Credential Students. Every CBU biology course is instructed by dedicated full-time professors who engage with students both in lectures and laboratory settings. Participants will engage in hands-on research, complete internships, or collaborate with faculty on research initiatives. Approximately 90% of our biology graduates applying to medical and dental schools gain admission, with a perfect 100% acceptance rate for pharmacy school applicants over the past decade.
