Brown University's School of Public Health has cultivated significant expertise in Mindfulness studies. This encompasses a dynamic group of cross-disciplinary faculty dedicated to exploring mindfulness across its entire scope - from foundational theories to assessment methods, therapeutic applications, and instructor preparation. The creation and growth of Brown's world-class Mindfulness Center (MCB), directed by Eric Loucks, PhD, opens fresh possibilities for enhancing mindfulness research and academic initiatives. Through increased faculty resources, essential mindfulness courses have been introduced, and the MPH Concentration in Mindfulness program will welcome its first cohort beginning Fall 2020.
