Students in the RCT program concentrate on philosophical and religious topics, examining religious ethics (the connections between religion, morality, and politics) and theories of religion. This curriculum blends these fields, promoting interdisciplinary work that combines normative and analytical perspectives. With its focus on theoretical and critical inquiry, the program provides extensive engagement with both historical and modern discussions, texts, and challenges in religious philosophy, ethics, social theory, theology, and political thought. Additionally, participants must develop expertise in at least one religious tradition to ground their critical analysis of religious practices and academic approaches to religion.
