The Data Fluency Certificate offers undergraduate students outside applied mathematics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, and statistics a structured program to develop proficiency in data analysis techniques and their underlying principles. The core intellectual challenge focuses on extracting meaningful insights from data while preventing inaccurate conclusions. Through mandatory hands-on experience, participants can implement data science methods within their major, participate in data-driven research projects, serve as undergraduate teaching assistants for data science courses, or complete internships with significant data analysis components.

Qualification Requirements
International applicants, like all applicants to Brown, are expected to complete secondary school. Brown's first-year students will have completed 12 to 13 years of primary and secondary schooling.
