The Physics Department offers a 5th-Year Master's program at Brown, enabling undergraduates to pursue a master's degree immediately following their bachelor's. Students can apply up to two of the eight required courses from their undergraduate studies, though courses counting toward their bachelor's degree cannot be reused for the master's (no duplicate credit). At least six semester courses must be completed at the graduate level. Applications must be submitted prior to finishing undergraduate studies. Since graduate admissions are handled by individual departments, juniors and seniors considering this option should reach out to faculty in their target programs. GRE scores are not mandatory for applicants.
