The Honors Program across all concentrations in the CLPS Department offers undergraduate students a unique chance to conduct research under faculty guidance. We highly advise students to collaborate with their faculty sponsor to design their research project during or before their sixth semester. This early planning enables both parties to arrange summer research activities or compile preparatory reading materials. Students must submit an honors application to their Concentration Advisor (or the Honors Advisor for Psychology) for approval at the start of their seventh semester. The research should conclude in time for an honors thesis submission and final presentation during the eighth semester. This program helps students gain research experience, develop critical skills, and build foundational knowledge. Exceptional senior concentrators may graduate with Honors distinction through this program. We strongly urge all eligible A.B. and Sc.B. concentrators to explore this Honors opportunity.
