Students pursuing a Literary Arts concentration with Honors in Creative Writing must incorporate two 1000-level workshops or independent study courses into their curriculum and additionally submit a thesis. This thesis represents a significant creative work showcasing the student's growth throughout the program, which may take the form of a poetry or short story collection, novel, theatrical script, or multimedia project. The thesis can be completed through either LR 1510 (independent study) or LR 1410 (Honors workshop).
