This selective program draws diverse candidates, from established gallery-represented artists to emerging talents admitted solely based on potential. Participants enjoy exclusive access to sunlit private studios, cutting-edge digital labs, comprehensive printmaking facilities, and dedicated student exhibition spaces. Each graduating cohort presents their culminating work in a high-profile thesis exhibition at leading Manhattan and Brooklyn galleries.
Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. Transcripts must reflect at least 36 credits in studio art and art history courses, including a well-balanced distribution of credits in studio art that may include 2D, 3D, digital art, time-based media, or performance acceptable to the Art Department. Applicants who earned a bachelor’s degree outside the United States need to submit a course-by-course international transcript evaluation.
