BYU Marriott's Master of Accountancy (MAcc) offers both an integrated five-year track combining bachelor's and graduate degrees, and a standalone option for those holding an accounting bachelor's degree from a U.S. accredited institution. In 2019, Public Accounting Report recognized BYU Marriott's graduate accounting program as the nation's second-best.
The Professional Accountancy Stem equips students for careers in corporate and firm-based professional services (including advisory and assurance work). While sharing over half its coursework with the Tax Stem, this track dedicates eighteen credit hours exclusively to professional service training. Distinctive curriculum elements cover advanced auditing, managerial accounting, accounting information systems, and related specialized subjects.
