The Biodiversity and Conservation program aims to equip students with comprehensive training across biological fields focused on recording and safeguarding biodiversity. This involves in-depth study of organismal biology, evolutionary processes, and ecological systems. Faculty members investigate a wide variety of species across multiple field locations, while students are supported to collaborate with Biology Faculty on personalized, guided research initiatives. Graduates will gain extensive knowledge of plant and animal diversity, evolutionary principles, and core concepts for examining biodiversity and conservation issues at all scales, from molecular to ecosystem levels.
