If you're passionate about exploring a subject in greater depth, boosting your professional qualifications, or developing essential skills for doctoral studies, pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies (NEJS) could be an excellent choice.
As an NEJS master's student, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty to design a customized study plan or choose from three specialized tracks:
Bible and Ancient Near East: Study the Hebrew Bible in its original language through the diverse lenses of Near Eastern texts, languages, histories, and religions.
Jewish Studies: Explore Jewish history, religion, literature, and thought across different eras and global regions, from ancient times to the modern period.
Arabic and Islamic Civilizations: Examine the religions, literature, and intellectual heritage of the Islamic world with particular emphasis on Arabic-speaking areas.
