Our music program offers more than just an understanding of music's intricate beauty—from foundational principles to diverse genres and live performances—it also equips you for numerous professional paths. Alumni frequently advance to graduate studies in performance, composition, music history, audio production, and similar disciplines. Some embark on careers as music educators, arts managers, opera vocalists, choir leaders, symphony players, songwriters, maestros, musical theater producers, entertainment executives, or multimedia experts—and some even transition into medicine, law, or education. The performance specialization, available to exceptional students via audition after their second year, hones artistic abilities through one-on-one coaching, group ensembles, and tailored electives chosen with faculty guidance. Participants in this track also showcase their talents through junior and senior recitals. Aspiring performers are strongly advised to take private lessons in their initial two years to ready themselves for the audition process.
