Completing an honors thesis presents both significant challenges and rich rewards. This intensive academic project enables students to deeply examine one subject while synthesizing knowledge from prior coursework.
While demanding substantial time and focus, typically pursued by just a select group of graduating seniors, a thesis offers the distinctive chance to perform novel research or develop fresh perspectives on a topic. It also serves as an avenue for rigorous academic reflection on study abroad experiences.
In the initial fortnight of fall semester, mandatory orientation sessions will be held for seniors contemplating thesis work. These gatherings allow students to address thesis inquiries and connect with fellow IGS thesis candidates. Meeting details will be distributed via email to all IGS majors.
