The electrical engineering program provides fundamental knowledge and capabilities for careers in engineering, marketing, sales, research, and other electronics-related fields.
You'll study the essentials of electrical and computer engineering through courses covering software, electromagnetics, circuits, simulations, and systems theory. Each academic year features design projects that let you investigate robotics, control systems, communications, energy, wireless technologies, and other practical applications. Beyond the engineering curriculum, you'll complete courses from other departments to enhance your professional abilities. These could include classes in business, communications, marketing, or other disciplines. For greater computer expertise, you can incorporate the computer option into your degree. If you're interested in robotics engineering applications, you can pursue the robotics and controls concentration.
Upon graduation, your accomplishments might encompass:
Professional networking and growth through the department's yearly career fair, Bradley's IEEE chapter, robotics club, and additional student organizations
Faculty-guided research projects
Internship and practicum experiences
Annual design projects
A comprehensive two-semester capstone project
Admission is based on a review of each student’s total academic and extracurricular record; the high school record of scholastic achievement and extracurricular and community activity; Results from the SAT or ACT; English language proficiency; Judgments made as a result of personal interviews and campus visits.
