Civil and construction engineers plan, create, and sustain transportation networks, water systems, and other essential infrastructure to ensure public safety during work, recreation, and transit. Bradley's CEC programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels equip you to become a meticulous problem-solver capable of applying technical expertise across diverse scenarios. Civil engineering covers the foundational principles of infrastructure development that transform towns and cities into resilient, flourishing communities. Construction integrates engineering, business, and management skills.
These programs emphasize technical proficiency, leadership, and research. From your first year, you gain access to advanced laboratories and progressively engage in projects leading to your senior capstone design. Leadership growth is fostered through management classes and student groups in the college. You can also customize your degree to align with professional goals by selecting courses in internationalization, sustainability, or infrastructure. Further education is available through a Master of Science in civil engineering (MSCE), with specializations in construction management, structural engineering, environmental water resources engineering, or transportation engineering. We provide a conventional MSCE pathway and accelerated 4+1 options for undergraduates seeking advanced degrees.
