The Adolescence to Young Adult (Secondary) Education program offers licensure specializations across multiple disciplines: Integrated Mathematics, Integrated Social Studies, Integrated Language Arts, Integrated Science, as well as Single Field Science options (Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences-Chemistry, and Physical Sciences-Physics). Additionally, students can pursue Dual Field Science combinations including Physical Sciences-Chemistry and Physics, Earth Sciences with Chemistry or Physics, and Life Sciences paired with Chemistry, Physics, or Earth Sciences.
Graduates of the Adolescence to Young Adult (Secondary) Education bachelor's program will achieve the following outcomes:
Master subject knowledge within their chosen specialization, Develop proficiency in effective teaching methodologies, Utilize developmental and learning theories to design, execute, and evaluate instructional materials, Maintain professional ethics when interacting with students, families, colleagues, and community partners.
