The allied health specialization welcomes students who have earned an accredited associate degree in any allied health discipline. The technical or clinical coursework from the associate degree can count toward fulfilling the specialization requirements for the bachelor's degree.
The applied health science program equips graduates for careers in healthcare while preparing them for advanced studies. This degree offers six distinct specializations, all sharing foundational BG Perspective courses, core requirements, and support classes while featuring different specialization courses. The comprehensive curriculum builds a solid science foundation while fostering critical thinking and analytical abilities.

Qualification Requirements
For admission to Bowling Green State University, a freshman applicant must:
Be a graduate of a senior high school approved or accredited by the department of education of the state in which it is located, OR
Have earned high school equivalency through the General Educational Development (GED) testing program (issued by the state department of education), OR
Present GED test results and ACT or SAT test results, if the student completed secondary education through an alternative program such as home schooling, OR
Present an international baccalaureate diploma or certificate.
Admission is selective. In general, we require a high school record that includes four units each of English and mathematics, three units each of science and social studies, two units of a foreign language, and one unit of visual or performing arts.
An applicant is considered for admission on the basis of four criteria:

Class rank
