Our graduates possess the expertise to address the regulatory, transactional, and compliance requirements of financial services clients in the global marketplace, securing leadership roles across banks, government agencies, law practices, businesses, financial entities, and international organizations. As the nation's sole financial services LLM program with dedicated faculty and a specialized graduate curriculum since awarding its first Banking & Financial Law degree in 1984, we maintain our distinctive position.

This academic program, emphasizing regulatory and transactional coursework in banking law, securities law, and broader financial services law, culminates in a Master of Laws in Banking and Financial Law. Participants may specialize in one of several concentrations: The Business of Banking, Compliance Management, Financial Services Transactions (available only for on-campus students), Lending and Credit Transactions, or Securities Transactions. Graduates emerge with profound understanding of legal applications in banking and finance, whether completing the program through Boston-based residential studies or online learning.
