The adaptable Master of Engineering (MEng) in Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) is a professional graduate program designed to be finished in one year of full-time enrollment, with the flexibility to extend to two years for those seeking internship or project-based learning. Part-time enrollment is also an option.
The College of Engineering empowers students to personalize their graduate education through customizable degree paths, including cross-disciplinary concentrations and practical experiences. Program length may vary based on each student's academic goals. Part-time study plans are available.
This MSE MEng program serves three primary audiences: i) Undergraduate seniors seeking an accelerated materials science master's before entering industry; ii) Professionals transitioning careers who need a one-year graduate program between positions; and iii) Working engineers aiming to advance their careers by combining technical MSE coursework with engineering management training focused on technological leadership, product development, and management strategies.
