Our Juris Doctor program blends a challenging academic curriculum with hands-on training in essential legal skills. The BU Law JD degree requires completion of 85 credits through our full-time program spanning three academic years.

Our Litigation and Dispute Resolution concentration leverages the law school's renowned faculty expertise in civil and criminal litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution, preparing you to handle diverse legal conflicts.

Students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 in second-year courses and seminars and a cumulative GPA of 2.3 at the end of the second year Students must earn a final average of at least 2.3 to graduate and they may not fail more than 5 units after the first year

Have taken the Law School Admission Test LSAT within the past five years
