Offered both on-campus and through online platforms, Boston University's Metropolitan College (MET) presents a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management, equipping students with essential administrative, financial, technical, and leadership competencies for aspiring fundraising professionals and nonprofit managers aiming to significantly improve their fundraising effectiveness.
Fundraising continues to be a critical institutional priority. Although nonprofit organizations have historically navigated financial difficulties, the coming years will present unique obstacles for fundraisers. Beyond evolving demographics, technological advancements, and political shifts—along with fluctuations in government and foundation backing and heightened competition for resources—nonprofits must now address the lingering impacts of the COVID-19 crisis.
Developed and taught by distinguished faculty from BU MET's Arts Administration program, this Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management caters to working professionals and aspiring nonprofit leaders who may lack the time or means to pursue a full graduate program, or who already hold an advanced degree in another discipline. The certificate is especially valuable for seasoned professionals in adjacent fields contemplating a transition into fundraising.
