Systems Engineering (SE) provides two PhD pathways: one for students with a bachelor's degree (MS/PhD track) and another for those holding a master's degree. These programs enable research in diverse fields including automation, robotics, communications, computational biology, information sciences, and supply chain management. Research initiatives are closely connected with the Center for Information & Systems Engineering (CISE).
This interdisciplinary PhD program draws faculty expertise from Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, and Medicine across multiple schools.
