The BA/MA program, delivered in partnership with the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GRS), enables exceptional undergraduates to obtain a master's degree while completing their studies at Boston University. Numerous students consider the MA advantageous for their professional aspirations after graduation. By pursuing advanced coursework, participants craft a structured curriculum aimed at achieving these goals: familiarity with key historical periods in their specialization, comprehension of critical methodologies for examining literature and culture, insight into techniques for analyzing linguistic patterns, and advanced competence in both spoken and written communication.
Admission Criteria
Prospective students applying for the BA/MA in Spanish/Hispanic Language & Literatures must maintain at least a 3.3 GPA. Special consideration is given to academic performance within the student's major field of study.
