The BA/MA program in economics enables high-achieving undergraduates to earn both a bachelor's and master's degree simultaneously through the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. This accelerated program mandates completion of 144 credit units at minimum. Students must complete the MA Economics Core curriculum (including microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, and econometrics) along with four graduate-level electives that substitute for undergraduate electives. Pursuing this dual degree necessitates 16 extra credit units (detailed below) and typically requires at least one additional semester beyond the standard BA timeline.
