The Biology major with a Behavioral Biology Specialization (SBB) allows students to create a customized, interdisciplinary program combining core and advanced behavioral science courses from Biology, Psychological & Brain Sciences, and Anthropology departments. This specialization expands on foundational teachings about behavioral organization through integrated studies in biology, psychology, neuroscience, primate behavior, and human biology. The SBB provides comprehensive understanding of behavioral evolution, ecology, and its underlying hormonal, neural, genetic, and epigenetic controls. Students can personalize their academic path through flexible course options. The Behavioral Biology Specialization promotes undergraduate research and equips students for advanced studies in biological sciences and biomedical disciplines.
Learning Outcomes
