The BAMA Program enables chosen students to obtain both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in History within five years. Participants can apply up to four undergraduate history courses toward their MA: two upper-level undergraduate classes plus two additional graduate-level courses completed during their senior year (details on credit allocation provided below).
BAMA participants must fulfill all undergraduate major course requirements alongside the MA's formal prerequisites. These include completing the MA colloquium, an additional graduate colloquium, a research seminar, showing foreign language competency, and passing an oral comprehensive exam covering major and minor fields of study.
