The 48-hour Master of Theological Studies program at Truett Seminary offers foundational training in biblical and theological studies with specialized focus areas. This degree equips students with broad theological knowledge while allowing specialization in fields relevant to their calling or ministry goals. The 48-credit program typically spans two years of full-time coursework. Designed to establish core theological competencies, the MTS serves both as preparation for advanced study and for personal enrichment. The program curriculum will: Familiarize students with Old and New Testament history and literature as interpretive foundations. For entrance into the MDiv program, only undergraduate grades or post baccalaureate (not graduate) grades are calculated to provide the GPA.
Ultimate approval for admission to the seminary is given by the dean of the seminary.
