Baylor's Aviation Sciences program launches your career in aviation, whether airborne or in ground operations. The curriculum blends aeronautical theory with practical application and technical training. This program includes flight instruction at the Baylor University Flight Center, managed by Universal Flight Concepts at Waco Regional Airport. Students must secure an FAA Medical Certificate from an Authorized Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). While a second-class FAA Medical Certificate is mandatory, obtaining a first-class certificate is strongly advised.
