The two-year Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology program equips students with advanced research capabilities and diverse hands-on experience, positioning them as strong applicants for psychology doctoral programs or immediate career opportunities. Through a blend of academic coursework and practical research engagements—from collaborating with faculty to conducting independent studies—the program delivers comprehensive training. The Department of Psychological Science aims to cultivate graduate-level expertise, preparing learners for doctoral pursuits or careers in research and academia. While the Clinical Psychology track follows a clinical science framework, the Psychological Science program offers extensive grounding in core psychological disciplines. Both curricula prioritize advanced research methodology and statistical training while enabling personalized specialization. Key focus areas include: a) analytical reasoning, b) proficiency in verbal and written expression, c) cultural awareness, e) ethical standards, and f) real-world application.
Students must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
Students must have earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from the undergraduate degree-granting institution.
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
Our program is competitive. Each Fall, we accept approximately 10 to 12 students for the master of arts in clinical psychology.
