By 2030, the U.S. will require approximately 427 billion square feet of new and upgraded residential and commercial spaces. At that point, 50% of existing structures will have been built since 2000. Simultaneously, urban centers nationwide demand revitalization. This impending construction boom will generate significant opportunities in real estate development, urban design, and community economic growth. The certificate program serves dual purposes: advancing public welfare through sustainable neighborhoods, affordable housing initiatives, and local economic projects, while also providing a pathway to graduate studies in urban planning or business administration. Selected certificate coursework may count toward these advanced degrees.
Students must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
Students must have earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from the undergraduate degree-granting institution.
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
