The School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering provides a graduate program culminating in a Master of Science degree in biomedical engineering.
Research concentrations encompass:
biomaterials, biosensing technologies, biological markers, and nature-inspired materials
medical imaging technologies
molecular, cellular, and tissue engineering approaches
neural systems and assistive technology development
synthetic biology and biological systems analysis
The biomedical engineering department features an accelerated combined BSE/MS program for high-achieving Bachelor of Science in Engineering students maintaining a 3.50 GPA (on a 4.00 scale) by their junior year. This pathway permits applying up to 12 credit hours of graduate courses completed during senior year toward both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
