The MM performance program focuses on musical performance and instruction.

Under faculty guidance, students reach professional performance standards through solo recitals, chamber groups, and participation in various ensembles like choirs, orchestras, jazz bands, musical theater, and opera productions tailored to their specialization. On-campus and off-campus performance experiences enhance students' skills and knowledge, preparing them to excel as educators, performers, or arts advocates. Collaborations with music researchers, composers, theorists, teachers, dancers, and theater professionals give students comprehensive training for advanced music careers or doctoral studies.

The program also equips students with essential professional skills such as audition techniques, networking, strategic planning, creating opportunities, and cultivating an entrepreneurial approach to their musical careers.
