Nonprofits globally are well-positioned to align with millennials' dual-purpose mindset. Thunderbird's MGM program now offers a specialized nonprofit leadership and management track to equip students for these meaningful careers.
As distinctions between nonprofit and for-profit operations continue to fade, Thunderbird's distinguished faculty has developed an interdisciplinary curriculum that spans sectors, ideal for future leaders of international nonprofits who want to apply their business and global management skills.
This distinctive nonprofit leadership specialization within the Master of Global Management gives students comprehensive insight into the nonprofit sector's global economic impact, along with the tools to oversee international nonprofit operations. In partnership with ASU's Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions (https://publicservice.asu.edu/), students complete nonprofit leadership coursework through Watts College. The program teaches students to analyze and explain nonprofits' historical and social significance, philanthropic principles, while developing expertise in modern financial management techniques.
