According to the World Economic Forum, empathy and teamwork stand out as essential competencies for global managers to thrive. These skills depend on cultivating social capital, which proves equally vital for professionals pursuing digital audience strategy careers. This curriculum fosters social capital through hands-on experiential learning, collaborative initiatives, and challenging tasks. Participants cultivate lasting, trustworthy connections — the core of social capital — with international peers by honing cross-cultural understanding, interpersonal influence, and diplomatic leadership.

The digital marketing sector anticipates steady yearly expansion, while technological progress has made programming and data analytics accessible to those without extensive technical backgrounds. This shift has spawned emerging hybrid roles blending digital capabilities with marketing and design expertise (Burning Glass).

The digital audience strategy specialization caters to learners aiming to enhance their digital proficiencies in marketing, design, and product innovation. By completing an interdisciplinary course sequence developed with other ASU departments, students merge the global leadership competencies of the standard Master of Global Management with cutting-edge digital know-how.

Robust research methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative, form the bedrock of successful digital audience strategies. Program alumni acquire expertise in conducting audience research, effectively targeting demographics, and proving campaign ROI.
