The program emphasizes leadership development, professional standards, and evidence-based practice among healthcare providers. Students cultivate ethical decision-making abilities and refine their communication techniques. Contemporary healthcare issues are examined to prepare graduates for creating forward-thinking solutions.

Specialization options include community health outcomes, healthcare policy and compliance, coordinated care models, or speech and language studies.

Select students may qualify for Mayo Clinic's echocardiography certification program after completing required preparatory courses. Earned certification credits can be transferred to ASU and counted toward the Health Sciences BS degree. Prospective participants should consult with academic advisors prior to enrollment.
