The Business Management Program offers students in-depth exposure to professional management challenges, an experience in inventive discovery, and a sense of personal academic achievement and leadership. Students will learn how to launch a business venture or run an existing company; utilize analytical, planning, and management tools; employ entrepreneurial strategy and determine whether a business model is feasible; gain the skills to navigate the global business environment and lead and manage effectively, and develop innovative solutions to business problems. Built on the theme of “Creative Leadership,” this program maximizes students’ competitive advantage in the workplace.
This program is open to students who have an Associates degree (A.A.) from FIDM or an Associates degree in a related field (business administration, marketing, or entrepreneurship) from another accredited college or university. Students who hold an Advanced Study degree in The Business of Denim, International Manufacturing & Product Development, or Menswear qualify for a special 9-month program leading to a B.S. in Business Management degree.

Qualification Requirements

Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from FIDM, or an Associates degree in a related field (business administration, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field) from another accredited college or university. Other requirements may apply. Please submit high school and all college transcripts by mail or email directly to your Admissions Advisor FIDM recognizes transcripts from schools that are either regionally accredited or found under the National Center for Education. Please submit SATACT test scores if available Although FIDM does not require ACT or SAT scores to apply to the college in some cases one of these nationally recognized tests may be required in order for us to determine academic readiness for acceptance to FIDM. Two 2 letters of recommendation from teachers counselors or employers are required You will submit the names and email addresses of your recommenders via your student account or you may request letters directly from your references and submit them to your Admissions Advisor. Provide a copy of your Passport via email to your Admissions Advisor. Your passport must be valid for at least six months into the future. The minimum TOEFL score or a TOEFL equivalent for acceptance to FIDM is a computer-based score of 183 or an Internet-based score of 65.
