The BGM program provides two distinct pathways: the international business, language and culture track, which mandates two years of foreign language study, and the international business and culture track, which focuses more on management courses without a language requirement. Students opting for the language track can choose from multiple language options. Note that the international business, language and culture track is exclusively available to on-campus students, while online students can only enroll in the international business and culture track.
With Thunderbird's distinguished faculty and corporate partnerships, students refine the competencies necessary to excel as global business leaders. Participants gain exposure to diverse political systems, cultural norms, and economic environments worldwide, applying their knowledge through mandatory international internships. While students are urged to complete internships abroad, they may fulfill this requirement through local placements with international elements.
