The Bachelor of Arts in Social Justice and Human Rights program at Arizona State University's New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences bridges social sciences and humanities disciplines, equipping students to address contemporary social justice concerns and human rights protections across local, national, and global spheres.
Through its curriculum, the program develops students' capacity to champion solutions for political, economic, and social disparities. Students engage with fundamental concepts of grassroots humanitarian efforts, digital advocacy strategies, and both theoretical frameworks and practical applications of social justice and human rights work.
This academic program qualifies for the Western Undergraduate Exchange initiative at ASU's West campus. Eligible students from participating western U.S. states may qualify for reduced out-of-state tuition rates, set at 150% of Arizona resident tuition plus fees.
