The AA program at the School of Animation & Visual Effects provides students with a solid foundation in fundamental animation production concepts. The curriculum covers visual effects, 3D animation, 3D modeling, 2D animation, stop motion techniques, and storyboard development.
Undergraduate learners will achieve these key performance objectives:
Visual Communication and Creative Problem-Solving
Implement strategic design decisions that enhance storytelling, character development, and atmosphere
Showcase research abilities for gathering inspiration, references, and factual accuracy while integrating discoveries into creative work
Produce digital components/effects that meet project requirements
Exhibit comprehension of visual storytelling continuity through sequential images
Display strong drawing and/or modeling capabilities in composition, perspective, proportions, and anatomical accuracy
Effectively portray movement and the dynamics between characters and/or objects
