Our MSc Engineering (Mechanical Manufacturing) program is designed to deliver relevant teaching and research opportunities that establish a strong foundation for careers in engineering and manufacturing.
The UK government is prioritizing manufacturing sector growth, with projections showing that unmet engineering skill demands could result in £27bn annual losses. STEM fields will account for 58% of new jobs, requiring a 40% increase in science, engineering, and technology graduates to meet workforce needs. Mechanical and manufacturing engineering skills are particularly sought-after within STEM disciplines.[1]
Our alumni hold positions at leading global firms including Rolls-Royce, Siemens, Alstom, and Airbus.
The curriculum covers design principles along with stress and fluid dynamics analysis, utilizing industry-standard software like ANSYS.
Students can specialize through their MSc research project, tailored to align with one of our University Research Centers' focus areas.
