Qualification Requirements
The academic requirements for the course are 80-112 UCAS tariff points at GCE A-level or equivalent.
No DBS is required by the University but applicants must declare relevant criminal convictions that are not 'spent on the UCAS or direct application form. Relevant criminal convictions are those for offences against the person, whether of a violent or sexual nature or for offences involving unlawfully supplying controlled drugs or substances where the conviction concerns commercial drug dealing or trafficking, offences involving firearms, arson or those listed in the Sex Offences Act 2003 or the Terrorism Act 2006.
Applicants who declare a relevant unspent criminal conviction will be contacted by letter by the Admissions Manager with a request to provide additional details. This is so that a risk assessment can be undertaken and the matter considered under the Consideration of Criminal Convictions Policy and Procedure.
