This bachelor's program was specifically created to address the mechanical engineering shortage in the automotive sector. It's tailored for individuals passionate about mechanical engineering who want to enhance their expertise in automotive applications.
The curriculum thoroughly examines modern vehicle engineering, design, analysis, and development, utilizing race cars as practical teaching tools. Additionally, it focuses on developing versatile skills that can be applied across multiple industries.
Program highlights
Students will:
gain hands-on experience in both a dedicated motorsport facility and professional-grade production workshop, working with industrial equipment.‚ÄØ
participate in ongoing development projects. Current initiatives include: a single-seater bike-powered race vehicle, Westfield SEi, rear-wheel-drive electric Renault 5, hybrid Toyota Auris (projects may vary). Students are also actively managing a Formula Student racing team.
