Our world-class composition faculty spans diverse styles and mediums, and our student body reflects this variety. Whether you focus on solo or orchestral works, electronic or acoustic sounds, notated scores or improvisation - all forms are celebrated at York. You'll explore numerous creative approaches without rigid constraints.

2:1 or equivalent in Music or another relevant discipline. We will also consider your application if you have a 2:2 honours degree and relevant professional experience.
