Over the past decade, Worcester's research capabilities have seen substantial growth alongside the University's expansion. As a postgraduate researcher, you'll become part of our thriving Research School community and engage with our energetic research culture. The School of Allied Health and Community boasts a diverse team of academics bringing extensive professional and personal expertise to help you maximize your learning experience.
Our faculty represents numerous Allied Health fields such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nutritional Therapy, Paramedicine, Physician Associates, Social Work, and Mental Health and Social Care. The School houses three specialized research centers focusing on: 1) Mental Health and mood disorders, 2) Dementia Studies, and 3) Wellbeing and Activity.
Program highlights
Offered as either full-time or part-time study options. Part-time candidates follow an identical structure to full-time students but complete their PhD within a maximum six-year timeframe
