The Secondary Education PGCE is structured to qualify graduates for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - the essential certification for teaching in state-maintained schools.
The Physical Education with Physics program cultivates reflective educators capable of meeting students' diverse learning needs through comprehensive PE instruction. We strive to foster physical literacy and active lifestyles by delivering exceptional physical education. Additionally, you'll gain expertise to teach Physics as a secondary subject. Trainees will master teaching both subjects to students aged 11-16, with opportunities to extend to primary and post-16 levels. Your training will combine university-based learning with practical school experience to develop your teaching skills in both Physical Education and Physics.

To have achieved a standard equivalent to a grade 4 previously Grade C in the GCSE examinations in English and Mathematics
