The Legal Practice Course (LPC) is designed to equip you with the necessary skills for working as a trainee solicitor while establishing a strong base for your future legal career. Available in both full-time and part-time formats, this program serves as a crucial vocational step for law graduates or Chartered Institute of Legal Executives members who've finished their academic legal training. Completing Stage One alone grants a Postgraduate Certificate in Legal Practice, while finishing both stages awards the full Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. The curriculum focuses on cultivating essential skills for legal careers and must be completed before starting a training contract. Key Features of This Program The Legal Practice Course (LPC) provides comprehensive preparation for trainee solicitors while building a robust foundation for professional practice. Wolverhampton Law School's LPC offers specialized pathways for students pursuing either general or commercial legal practice, culminating in a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Career Opportunities While primarily preparing students for trainee solicitor roles, the LPC also develops transferable skills valuable in business, finance, and banking sectors requiring legal knowledge. Graduates may also advance to the University's Professional Practice Master's program, earning an LLM qualification.
