Building upon previous coursework, it explores public health aspects, respiratory disease epidemiology, sleep disorder patterns, risk evaluation, preventive strategies, and behavior modification techniques. Learners will enhance their competencies in delivering personalized patient care as the foundation for clinical judgments, while advancing their expertise in muscular function assessments, basic multichannel sleep diagnostics, and CPAP treatment administration.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants will need an Honours degree in a related subject (normally 2:2 or above). GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 / C+ or Key Skills Level 2 Communication or Key Skills Level 2 Application of Number will be required. No other equivalences are accepted. Applicants are required to hold a post in an appropriate NHS department to complete the clinical components of the course requirements and to be supported by a work-based supervisor to undertake the diploma who is appointed by their employer.. International students will need IELTS 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in every element or equivalent. TOEFL IBT - Overall Score of 79 with no component score less than 21.
